Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Morad Park on Saturday for the willow planting! It was a beautiful morning and a wonderful time to be outside helping our river.
Morad Park Willow Stake Replanting,
a Platte River Revival Volunteer Project
The purpose of the project was to replace willow stakes that were planted as part of the river restoration in Morad Park and were pulled, in an act of vandalism, before they could establish. Approximately 6,500 willow stakes are missing. Willows are an integral component of the river restoration. They prevent erosion by holding the bank.
